I had been waiting for four years to get a doe out of Shamrock and she sure didn't disappoint. Africa is flashy! flashy!! flashy!!! She has a beautiful face and wonderful conformation. She has nice width and length. Her mother, Shamrock, has her usual great udder that is as snuggly attached as her first freshening. Africa was bred to Size Does Matter and freshened on March 19th with a cute little buckling. He will be available 5/19 as a wether when he is weaned for $75. We named him Two Tone Tony.
I'm pleased with her first freshening udder. She is producing like her dam did as a first freshener so far. This morning she milked out 1.6llbs. Her udder size, shape, and attachments are great and she has bigger teats than her mom.
Updated photos as soon as it is nice out! :-)
Her dam and sire tested negative for CAE & CL in March 2011. I will be testing her soon.
